We are at the furtherest point of out getaway in the stunning Smokey bay the kiddos have had a blast on the beach, in the boat, catching squid and spending time with cousins.... 02.01.2022 We hear a lot about self care these days. But what does it really mean? Is it a long hot uninterrupted soak in the tub? Is it pamper appointments that make your skin, hair and nails glow? Is it a hot cuppa and a good book?... A good session at the gym? Is it putting on an outfit that makes you feel like you and pumping your favourite song? Yeah all that is amazing. But i think it's a bit deeper than any of that because Is any of it really worth anything we don't look after within as well. Im talking deep down recognising your burning the candle at both ends and blowing them out for a bit. Taking off all those extra hats we wear coz dam they are heavy. Putting all the juggling balls down. Letting go of anything toxic. Stop comparing yourself. Taking a few deep breaths and really taking stock of how much you have learnt, achieved, overcome and tell yourself your doing the best you can and that is enough in fact you are doing a freaking amazing job, because let's face it you are and no one else could do what you do.
