25.01.2022 Looking back to 12 months ago...Tonight I was anxiously finishing the final touches to getting my new biz launched I was nervous as hell, scared, excited and everything else in between. I think it’s fair to say that the last year has been a crazy ride. Firstly starting a new business is very difficult and I’ve learnt a lot of lessons already In such a small time. People message me a lot asking for advice or help about starting a business and I always genuinely help because I... remember how daunting it was and how I felt on this very day a year ago.Have I done everything right? Will I even sell my clothes? I had no one to help me, no one for advice and this has probably been one of the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. Having no experience in the industry and coming from a background in realestate, this type of thing was certainly not my forte. I’ve had to learn things the hard way from trial and error and been knocked back a few times in more ways than one. Going into this I’m not sure what I expected but one thing I knew was how much passion and determination I had to make it work. Things have taken a lot longer than I would have liked due to manufacturing difficulties, falling pregnant again and now obviously COVID19. No matter what’s been thrown my way I won’t give up on the dream! Ive felt so empowered through the last few months seeing more sales than ever before so thank you for supporting small it’s been amazing to see people supporting small business through these tough times, it means more than you know. Thank you to each and everyone of you who’s been supporting and following our journey these past 12 months. I honesty can’t wait to show you what’s up next. 09.01.2022 I don’t think anyone could have predicted that we would all be sitting in our homes days into isolation in this current position. I’m sure at some point we are all guilty of turning a blind eye to the news of the virus including being asked to please stay home. But now more importantly than ever we need to continue to work together on making this all come to an end and simply STAY AT HOME. I’m currently 2 weeks away from bringing a baby into this madness and as you can imagin...e I’m scared, anxious and concerned about my family’s health. I read something today that really resonated with me and I know a lot of my following are in the younger demographic of the world so please think about this... if roles were reversed and young people were more likely to die from coronavirus, our parents and grandparents would do absolutely everything and anything to protect us.
