21.01.2022 Gotta love Beyonce. Not only is she oozing with ridiculous amounts of talent she's also very realistic when it comes to dieting. She managed to get back into shape after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy by cutting back on food and eating a low calorie diet - but she allowed herself one meal a week where she could eat whatever she wants - and apparently it's usually pizza!... 12.01.2022 Mummyfit Sydney - Exciting news for Sydney Mums! Zumba Rhythm Sydney will soon be announcing a date in Feb for their very first MUMS N BUBS ZUMBA CLASS! Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin music and easy-to-follow dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms and resistance training. Zumba is exercise in disguise!... Please note that the MumsnBubs Zumba class is a normal Zumba Fitness class and the workout does not incorporate your baby (ie we wont be swinging the babies around the room as salsa partners), though the class will be held in an comfortable environment that allows you to come and go as you please if you need to for eg change a nappy, feed, settle your baby. For the class you can bring a play mat, portable highchair or pram for your baby to sit close by as you work out. The class will be held in Sydney, approx Bondi area, the venue is not confirmed as yet though I will let you know once it is. And being a new Mum I always ensure Sebastian has a well balanced meal plan which includes covering all of the food groups and ofcourse gets loads of fresh stuff. But unfortunately it's easy to neglect our own diets....... Snacking in between meals is a great way to keep your metabolism and energy levels stable, manage your weight and stop you from having any naughty cravings. Here are some other great finger food snack ideas for you and your baby: - Avocado on rye bread - Steamed pears and apples - Cucumber slices - Steamed carrot, broccoli and cauliflower pieces - Cheese stringeys - Banana, watermelon, mango, strawberry pieces Today Sebastian and I had bananas and blackberries for morning tea and a cheese stringey for afternoon tea - as you can see the blackberries were a hit with Seb!
