06.01.2022 HOME SCHOOLING 101 mummymusthaves.com.au started off as a business that came about as I was a new Mum and had no idea about anything in relation to children, babies or parenting. I was also a first time Mum at 38 so really had been used to a life all about travel, my career and me. I realised I needed to know everything.... What did I need, where did I buy it, what products are good, which products are bad, how do I get my child to sleep, what do I pack in my daily mummy bag, what snacks do kids like, am I doing an ok job? Why is wine so comforting? How do I run my business with kids? My kids are older now 11 and 8 and I am now faced with home schooling. Luckily I work from home and have a home office so for now, I still have some clients. I also unfortunately have had to put off two staff (hopefully just on hold for now) so those two desks are now my home school. I also realise I am VERY fortunate to have this space, to have a few clients left and to have computers and desks for my kids. I know a lot of people do not have all of that right now. I want to create a place (amongst) the many where home schooling parents can share their ideas, home schooling tips, home set ups, activities you do, how you stay sane - basically anything home school related. Please SHARE your ideas, tips - anything on the page and I will share some of my journey. Also, let me know any ideas on how you want the content structured too eg a post titled - art activities, a post titled, on line learning links etc If you have nothing to say just yet - then just type an F in comments so you can follow and see more posts.
