In times of instability, there can be unimaginable, shocking, beautiful growth. For everybody left feeling overwhelmed, please hear this message. I believe the world is changing. No longer can we ignore the facts. It's time to recognise the systems we have set up no longer serve us. We need to evolve. We need to change and grow. We can no longer put the future in other's hands. Hear the message that is calling us to rise up and create the world we want to be a part of. A world driven by hope and love. A world where people and planet thrive. Where communities support one another and are set up to do so. Where real world skills are taught and values are ingrained into the fabric of our society that actually support us. Can you hear it calling? Can you feel the change? I can. I can see it in the faces of the people rising up to dedicate their lives to causes they believe in. 2020 is our siren song. Our calling is here and now. What are you doing to create the world you want to live in? I suggest you use this time of social isolation to go internal. We rush around spending most of our energy and brainpower on relatively minor daily struggles. When was the last time you thought about how to live? About what lights you up? About how you can contribute your ideas to our society and create a place you'd want your children to inhabit? Or what you want to achieve before you die? And when you will do it? Or how? Be slow. Think. Seize the opportunity to audit your life. Maybe it's painful. Maybe it's a pandora's box. But what if you never open it. What then? Where will you be when all is said and done? Will things ever change? or will days fade into weeks fade into a lifetime of shoulds. They say great artists are born in the darkest countries like Iceland where the light can't distract and boredom breeds creativity. When was the last time you were bored? Coincidentally, when was the last time you had a great idea? Was it staring into your morning emails or punching away on excel? Or was it in the shower? Or on a long solo drive when the stereo was broken? Lean in to this. Learn from this.
