This is available between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm weekdays. 23.01.2022 Christmas at the Cottage is coming! Over two days... Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December. 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Bring the whole family to see Santa. Photographer and gift for each child. Range of gift stalls. Sausage sizzle snd cold drinks. Something for everyone. ... 22.01.2022 Due to the current escalation of COVID19 cases, we regrettably will be cancelling the Toy Sale which was scheduled for next Monday 10th August. However we hope to re-schedule again in the not too distant future. In the mean time we will be having fund raising raffles at the Cottage and will still be open for companionship, support and counselling. Stay safe everyone.

21.01.2022 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Mums' Cottage is in the process of putting together a new program we would like to call the 'Umbrella Program'. The program will be designed to help support Family & Friends who have experienced those that self harm.... The program may look something like this: Companionship Confidentiality Respect Social activities Optional Professional Assistance of Qualified Counselors and Psychology referrals The main aim will be to provide a safe sacred place for those to attend and immerse themselves in social activities and have the option to speak to qualified counselors. What we would like from you is to tell us what you think would help you, what you would like to see be part of the program. 21.01.2022 WE HAVE MASKS for sale. We have a supply of safety standard masks for sale at the Cottage for $10 each. So call into Cottage and grab a Mums’ Cottage mask between 9am-2pm Mon-Fri. We also have a supply of nappies for new borns, crawlers and toddlers to give away. So if your in need of nappies, call into the Cottage.

18.01.2022 Monday is making mask day here at Mums’ Cottage. These masks will be made according to government regulation standards and then be sold at $10 each. All money raised will go towards services Mums’ Cottage provides. If you would like to help make these masks, come along every Monday morning from 10am to 12pm here at the Cottage.

17.01.2022 Tomorrow is the first day of the combination playtime and storytime. So bring your child/children along for a fun time.

16.01.2022 Just letting everyone know that tomorrow is the Mums’ Cottage Volunteer’s Day therefore Mums’ Cottage will be closed Thursday 19th November. 11.01.2022 Just a reminder that Wednesday mornings is scrabble morning here at Mums’ Cottage. We start the game at 10.30 followed by a lunch provided by Mums’ Cottage afterwards. So come along for some good old fashion board game fun, a few laughs and great company here at the Cottage.

09.01.2022 We had an absolutely wonderful day at the Toronto Motor Yacht Club today for the Mums’ Cottage Volunteers day. Sister Heien-Anne gave us a lovely day of guest speakers, entertainment and yummy yummy food all set with the most beautiful views of Lake Macquarie. Thank you Sister. Feeling the love

07.01.2022 It is with regret that Mums’ Cottage will have to close again as of this afternoon 7th August due to the recent cases of COVID19 in the Newcastle area. If you need to speak to Sister Helen-Anne, she will be available by phone, Monday-Friday 10am to 2pm on 4953 4105. Oz Harvest will still be available every Friday and you must put your name down on the Oz Harvest list by Thursday. We will be completing our mask orders. Please ring the Cottage to arrange pickup. We are not ...taking anymore mask orders at this time. Stay safe everyone and with God’s help we can overcome these very difficult times.

06.01.2022 Story-time and Playtime will be held this Thursday and every Thursday 10am-12pm during the school term in the Betty Evans room. There will be stories, games, music time and lots more. and hosted by our volunteer school teacher Jeanette Kilpatrick. Please bring along a hat, sun protection, a snack and drink for your child/children. Ages are bubs, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
