13.01.2022 Here is a simple fine motor activity with playdoh and pasta that every toddler will enjoy

12.01.2022 Hi everyone, this from @Angi Burt "Hi, can you please post for me! I am looking for suggestions of weaning alsost 18 month boy of a bottle. ... He was breast fed for the first 7 months. Easily went on to formula. Then on to cows milk no problem. Now I am trying to reduce the amount of cows milk as he can easily have 4/5 bottles a day. He will stand at the kitchen door and have a full blown melt down until he gets a bottle. I have tried putting water in the bottle or putting milk in a sippy cup. I have even tried only putting a few oz of milk in the bottle but he wants a full bottle! He doesn't associate bottles with bed he just likes his milk. But my concern is too much milk isn't good for his insides, he still eats pleanty of food and drinks water through the day. Thanks x"

11.01.2022 As your twinkling eyes look up at me I see a glimpse of the man you shall some day be. You're barely 6 months old, and still so tiny, a prem. You will soon be a... toddler, a boy, gosh then a teenager.... a man... BUT for now... let's just cuddle. Your hands are so small but strong, your little fingers wrap around just one of mine, your tiny feet have strength beyond your size, a teeny tiny reminder of what the future holds. You're so little yet some day, too soon for me to think about, you will be bigger than your Mummy, and those twinkling eyes will now be looking down upon me. You are so affectionate, you love your snuggles with Mummy, and when things are getting you down Mummy is the one who can really comfort you. I cherish these times, they last only a moment, then some day too soon you won't have a bar of it. You won't allow cuddles or snuggles, you won't want school gate kisses, a peck on the cheek will be out of the question, and carrying you around an impossible feat. I ache with the knowledge that these days will come... BUT for now... let's just cuddle. You're so easily pleased, full of smiles and giggles, laughter and love. That precious little face looking up at me, oblivious to the world around you and trusting in us to keep your tummy full, and to keep you safe. You smile with your entire body when Daddy so lovingly plays with you, your big sister smothers you with such intense and pure love, and when you catch your Mummy's eye. Your beautiful little face etched into my mind changes with every morning. With each morning chipping away at your infancy, with your toddler years and childhood in it's sights. Each new day is a day closer to tantrums, hormones, attitude and the influences of friends and girlfriends. To Mum and Dad always being wrong, and those times you will inevitably question our authority, wishing you could live with your mate who's Mum lets him stay up late. Independence and confidence, influence and hormones...eek! BUT for now... let's just cuddle. Your future is bright! You have the unconditional love of your family. You can rest assured that we will love and nurture you, guide you and support you, laying a foundation for you to grow into a strong, independent, loving, loyal, empathetic and genuine young man. A man just like your Daddy. You will have the world at your feet with a ticket to anywhere. I miss you already... BUT for now... let's just cuddle! 05.01.2022 Hi everyone, this just in from Margot : " I hope you’re well. As the Audience Development Coordinator at the Perth International Arts Festival, i'd love to offer your group some complimentary tickets for kids aged 7-12 to attend our show Small Voices Louder. ... There are a few session times this weekend and we would love for those in your group with kids who can read, aged 12 and under to be able to send their children along on this fun adventure. It is imperative that children be no older than 12 and have the ability to read or they will not be able to attend or partake in this event." Please email Margot@ [email protected]
