17.01.2022 Did anyone else feel like when they became a Mum for the first time that they had to suddenly fit a certain standard? Wear certain clothes? Talk a certain way? Be a responsible, professional, adult? When I first became a Mum I remember thinking I needed to switch out all of my EXTRA outfits, colours, sequins, minis etc etc for neutral tones, mid length skirts and short block heels I dressed every day like a mum trying to fit in to my new role in life.... It took me a good couple of years to figure out that just because I was now a Mum didn’t mean I had to suppress who I was before. Don’t get me wrong, there are things, experiences, bad choices, regrets, and certainly a bunch of clothes that I knew would never come back to me (fish net stockings, skirts the size of my hand, Skechers, supre ruffle skirts where we would cut the bottom layer off) you get the drill BUT, I’ve come to a point in life where if I see something I LIKE I quickly flick the but what will people think, is this fashionable through one ear and out the other. When I saw this dress I knew it was extra and was nothing like what I was thinking of wearing but I’ve come to a point where I’ve finally realised that it DOES NOT MATTER what other people think. Dress for yourself. It’s a zillion times better dressing in something that makes your soul shine rather than picking out something that makes you feel like you are meeting societal standards rather than being your true self. Go for the brights, wear the bikinis, paint those nails pink. Stuff the trends, life’s too short! Had a great time at the @the.founders.team Gala Saturday night. Had some fan girl moments meeting some amazing women who are absolutely smashing it in the business world! If you are looking for a space where you can be truly supported in business, stay accountable for your goals and just make new friends that understand your challenges and wins then I highly recommend joining! #foundersfam @ Blackbird Bar & Restaurant Brisbane
17.01.2022 Hey Mamas! For all that crumbled today. Pulled the doonas over their eyes at wake up. I SEE YOU. Please know that most days I don’t have it altogether and that no Mum does! I’ve been questioning so hard lately my abilities of motherhood. I’ve even said to friends that I don’t think this gig is for me!... LOL, like we have a choice! Keep swimming my honeys! Keep fucking swimming! You have got this xoxox

06.01.2022 Head fell off Monday morning when being asked is their Poo in my butt from the almost 5 year old while cleaning shit from the expensive doona from the one year old. Right arm fell off on Tuesday from carrying around a 12kg ninja whinga that thinks boobs are door handles and acts like they are the only thing on this planet giving her life. Right foot has given up kicking the dog too many times for barking at the child in the pool (I don’t blame him for the way she wears her... goggles) And left foot well I think she’s just being the empath we all need in this family and yours and telling me well, without me, you actually can’t do anything but rest my love, soooo CYA Another week bites the dust honeys. Put your feet up. Tell your kids to fuck off. Whatever you gotta do! No judgey Sharon here xxxx You better have a drink in hand I tell you what! Also thanks for the inspo for whoever said this would make a solid meme
