23.01.2022 MUNASH ORGANICS TOP TIPS FOR THE WEEK Transplanting anything you need to should take priority this month. Do it before the heat returns! And water in with Munash Organics Renew, our special blend of mineral fertiliser once a fortnight, which will repair any root damage in the transplanting process overcoming any shock to the plant

23.01.2022 MUNASH ORGANICS TOP TIPS FOR THE WEEK Lilac is a heavenly scented old fashioned plant that never goes out of style. Give them a light prune once their Spring blooms vanish, and spread a little Munash Organics Rockdust love and nature will repay you kindly Pop in some Nasturtiums for some Summer colour pop in the garden. They are a long-lasting flower and won’t disappear until heavy frosts reappear. They add a lovely peppery taste to salads, and both the flowers and leaves are edible. Great to grow in the veggie patch to substitute mulch as they spread thick and fast, but are easy to remove if they become too invasive Lightly trim box and other formal hedges, and remember to mulch to prevent water absorption, after you top-dress with a handful per square meter of Munash Organics Rockdust

22.01.2022 MUNASH ORGANICS TOP TIPS FOR THE WEEK Got Nettles popping up all over the place? They are awesome additions to compost systems, chooks love them or better still make some homemade nettle tea! Get digging and prepare your soil with Munash Organics compost blend Revitalise in time for planting out dahlia tubers in a sunny well drained spot in the garden in October to avoid wet boggy soil Hot tip: add some lime mixed with Rockdust to the soil of your hydrangeas if you want more pink blooms in the sunny Summer days ahead

21.01.2022 MUNASH ORGANICS TOP TIPS FOR THE WEEK It’s a great time to revitalise your lawns, prune back any early Spring flowering creepers like Wisteria, swap spring flowering favourites like pansies to annual flowering sun lovers like Petunias for some Summer bling. And top everything up with a nice supply of Munash Organics Rockdust! You can start thinking about softer leafed herbs in cooler areas around November, as the air should be warm enough to perk them along. Think basil, coriander, Italian parsley. Great little all-rounders and perfect accompaniment in most meals! Tick tock. Time to also check your irrigation hoses and sprinklers are in top order, before the Summer blast

20.01.2022 MUNASH ORGANICS TOP TIPS FOR THE WEEK Perfect time to prime your lawns people! Get out there and loosely aerate the lawn with a garden fork to add air to the roots, removing any weeds as you go. Then give it a boost with sprinkled Rockdust over it. Don’t dig it in just walk away and watch it do its own magic as it works its way into the soil Time to sharpen the secateurs and lop your Winter flowering Grevillea, reducing them to a third of their size. Did you know ...all natives love a dose of Munash Organics Rockdust every now and then? Our Rockdust is a multi-purpose fertiliser perfect for all plants Some Summer flowering plants to pop in now include Solomon’s Seal, Bearded Iris, Belladonna Lily, Dahlia, Oriental Lily, Nerine, Daylily, Lilium. 20.01.2022 MUNASH ORGANICS TOP TIPS FOR THE WEEK After your lemon tree has finished fruiting give it a tidy up removing any long arching shoots If you haven’t already pruned your roses now is the time. Don’t forget to mulch and fertilise after the job is done with Munash Organics Revitalise our 100% organic compost, and add a dose of Munash Organics Renew, our special blend of mineral fertiliser... Get them off to the best possible start with regular squirts of Munash Organics liquid fertiliser Renew to strength the leaf growth Once your Camellias and Azaleas cease to bloom, give them a lovely haircut, to promote new growth for next year. Start planning those garden backyard picnics as the sunshine increases, and reward your beautiful flowers and vines with goodness.

18.01.2022 MUNASH ORGANICS TOP TIPS FOR THE WEEK Now is a good time to have a look at where your outdoor pots are and move any that could be heat affected into shadier spots Remove any surplus smaller fruit from your summer cropping fruit trees such as apples, plums, pears and peaches. This allows the tree to focus its energy on quality rather than quantity! Did you know that silverbeet is a better growing Summer crop than Spinach? It’s more hardy and won’t get as zapped by the heat. Silverbeet is an easily substituted ingredient in most recipes for spinach

17.01.2022 COVID-19 has hit so many people and businesses hard. Our friends at Ballarat Wildlife Park are no exception. As you can imagine the costs of running a zoo are enormous. Without revenue from ticket sales and visitors, the struggle to provide for all of the animals increases every day. All funds raised will go towards providing food, medicine and maintenance of the animal enclosures. The owners and staff love all of the animals at the zoo (yes, even the not-so-cuddly ones!) and will do anything for them. Any contribution, big or small will help the animals survive through this pandemic.

17.01.2022 Let's give a big green Munash welcome to some exciting new stockists this week!! Send these legends some love and likes if you can spare a minute or two - every little bit helps in times like these. : @up_on_the_rooftop... : @zephyrgreen : @south_coast_crystals See more

14.01.2022 Munash Monday FAQs! Question: Are your products completely safe for kids and pets?... Answer: Yes, yes and yes! All of our products are 100% certified organic, not 97% - all of the products and all of the ingredients are 100% organic. Which means you can get the kids and the family pets all involved with gardening. We actually *recommend* touching our products with your hands and connecting with the product, plants and soil - it is natures way of grounding you and making you a little bit happier. Seriously, did you know that by getting your hands dirty in the garden can increase your serotonin levels?? Contact with soil and a specific soil bacteria, Mycobacterium Vaccae, triggers the release of serotonin in our brain according to research. Serotonin is a happy chemical, a natural anti-depressant and strengthens the immune system. Total win for all the family. Happy gardening. If YOU have a question for the Munash team - pretty please post it below and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!

07.01.2022 A moment of silence please for the real losers of 2020

07.01.2022 Happy 2021 friends and plant lovers. The day we have all been waiting for has finally arrived! Time to say goodbye to the year that was 2020 and face forward towards a year of positivity and possibilities! Our New Year's Resolution this year is to let you all know a bit more about what goes on behind the scenes here at Munash Organics. We've been realising how important it is to talk about how our respect for the soil extends beyond our products and to the greater commu...nity and, even more importantly, a sustainable future. One of the things we are passionately committed to is a sense of environmental stewardship. This means recognising that everything is connected, taking steps to offset our carbon footprint, giving back to the earth that nourishes us. For the past 18 months, we've been working with @15.trees to improve the soil of our greater community, daily on a micro level, project by project, site by site. In 2020, Fifteen Trees has organised our trees to be planted in the Campaspe Valley in Central Victoria. The trees have been planted at Eucalcama Back Creek and surrounds, by Campaspe Valley Landcare to aid in their regeneration projects. Stay tuned to hear more about our tree planting adventures and know that every time you buy a Munash Organics product, you're part of something bigger - a true respect for our earth and soil and everything that connects us to mother nature. And if you want to help more directly - click through to https://15trees.com.au/ or contact Colleen on 0400 040 650 or [email protected] See more

04.01.2022 Munash Monday FAQ! Question: I hear you talk a lot about the word "Energy" but I don't really get what you mean? Can you explain how Rockdust and energy work?... Answer: GREAT question. Whenever we talk about how the soil works we relate it back to the human body. So just like how our body requires "energy" to process nutrients and minerals in your body, soil needs the same. Rockdust is paramagnetic and the soil in your garden is also paramagnetic. It isn’t magnetic but is mildly attracted by a magnet and partially aligns with the earth’s magnetic field, so it’s called paramagnetic. Some soils are attracted more than others, and generally, the more paramagnetic your soil is, the better. By adding Munash Rockdust - you INCREASE the paramagnetic level in your soil. The higher paramagnetic your soils are, means they are more energetically aligned with the earth and the universe, and actually invites energy into them and into the plants. When we eat the plants that are grown in higher energetic soils using Rockdust, it means our bodies are eating highly energetic food. Therefore by adding Rockdust to your soil, you are increasing the minerals, energy and general happiness in your garden and yourselves. There is so much more to Rockdust than you think! If YOU have a question for the Munash team - pretty please post it below and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!

03.01.2022 Follow up crops are a good way to always have food in The Patch! Now is a perfect time to sow more leafy greens including lettuce and spinach to keep your salads and so many other dishes tasting delicious, whilst giving your body the nutrients it needs. Winter can really take a toll on we humans, even without a worldwide pandemic to worry about. It's easy to get a bit lazy at this time of year (especially for those of us in high stage lockdowns!), but keep up the greens, your body will thank you!

02.01.2022 Have you ever heard the story about the woman in the US who wrote to her local council asking for the "Deer Crossing" to be moved, because it was on a busy road and it was an unsafe place for the deer to cross? Maybe this is a better idea...
