21.01.2022 I've been turning a few bowls lately, and I almost forgot the pleasure and satisfaction in turning these. There just seems to be a slightly greater sense of relaxation, and getting absorbed in the work and what you are doing. This one's a small Silky Oak bowl, one of my favourite bowl making timbers. **SOLD** ... 18.01.2022 A selection of some recent additions from this weekends turnings. A variety of Australian timbers with some label casts in quality resin. 14.01.2022 Large double seam ripper with awl / stiletto, made with Bethlehem Olive Wood. Something for the sewers! Use one end at a time, either the seam ripper or stiletto, or have both ready to use. Both ends can then be stored inside the timber for protection when not in use. This item has proven to be quite popular lately, and I've made a few of these as a gift set of seam ripper and pen. They range in price depending on the type of pen chosen, but can be custom made in any t...ype of timber. Please PM if interested.

13.01.2022 Brush Box wooden bowl. Timber sourced from NSW Australia A lovely timber to work with, with subtle grain variation to give it a classic look. It's quite a heavy timber, so I left the rim a bit thicker than normal so that the look matches the feel (heaviness) of the bowl. ~~SOLD~~... 02.01.2022 **Sold** Hybrid brown mallee timber with resin on a copper Sierra. I love how the colours complement each other in this pen.... The blank for this pen is absolutely amazing and was cast by a fellow local turner. I'll add a video also to try to capture the depth and colour variation. Please PM me for details if interested.
