18.01.2022 As school starts again for another year so does Mundaring VFRS Cadets and we are recruiting. We train every Monday at 5pm to 7pm of the school term. If you'd like to know more please come down to Mundaring Fire Station Wandeara Cres Mundaring next Monday or send us a PM for more info.

12.01.2022 Tonight cadets had a challenge night. Their challenge to get from one side of the station to the other and carry a unconscious person back not using a spinal board.

09.01.2022 https://www.adflongtanawards.gov.au/ For the second time we have had a cadet/ probationary firefighter receive the ADF Long Tan Leadership Award. First was two years ago when Vincent Ness was recognised for his achievements. ... Vini has since gone on to begin his career with the ADF something we are all very proud off. Today we had our second awardee with Niamh Hegney being recognised for her achievements and again we are all very proud of Niamh and look forward to watching her in her upcoming adventures. Much of what we promote through the cadet program is encouraging leadership and personal growth amongst cadets. I have linked here an outline of what the Long Tan Award is all about.

08.01.2022 Good news everyone we will be starting cadets again as of term 3. Our first day back will be Monday 27th July at 1700hrs. Please remember if you are feeling unwell please do not come down to the station.
