08.01.2022 We are happy to welcome our new Junior school teacher for 2021, Miss Jessica Rynne. Hi Mundoo State School, My name is Miss Jessica Rynne. I am wanting to introduce myself and say how excited I am to be teaching at Mundoo SS and meeting you all in 2021. I look forward to this new experience. ... For the past four years, I have been teaching a combined class of Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 at Banana State School in Central Queensland. It is a small school just like yours! I have pursued rural teaching opportunities since I began my teaching journey at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I undertook many practicals in rural areas throughout Central Queensland, before accepting a permanent position at Banana State School on completion of my degree. I love rural towns, and growing up on a farm outside a small town has made it easier to understand and appreciate small-town communities. I am very passionate about the Early Years and look forward to continuing this at Mundoo State School. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a passion to promote and foster lifelong learning for every student. I am an extremely self-motivated, hardworking and personable individual that is constantly seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and experiences. Some of my hobbies and loves outside of school include going to the beach, swimming, camping, fishing, touch football, travelling, meeting new people, catching up with friends, helping Mum and Dad muster cattle and load pigs on the farm and visiting my three sisters. My partner and I decided to make the move to FNQ to experience and explore this beautiful part of Queensland. We both look forward to meeting and becoming a part of the school and wider community.
