09.01.2022 I’ll tell you what peeps ! Once a Friday night treat/cheat meal would be a take away / Asian/Indian/Thai/pizza but since I have had the beef sausages from @gran...trhi keeping Dads traditional recipe alive ! This has been my treat meal for the last couple of weeks after 250k of hard riding workouts so far this week I skipped lunch and saved myself for Mundy’s Meat Supply tradition thick beef sausages with chips and a light pepper gravy most of you know I was a multiple Australian sausage King when I owned @westhobartgourmet and although I’ve had some good beef sausages since selling and I’ve had some I would not honestly feed my dog (truth) but Grant has absolutely nailed this old recipe that probably originated from England or Ireland a couple of hundred years ago ! It’s a from scratch sausage! For those of you that are not sure what that means from scratch no packets of premix that most butchers tweak and I admit I was one of those on some of my sausages! Time and convenience played a part and if tweaked right you knew you had a great product and the correct measurements for food laws ! but this Traditional beef sausage is my childhood (thin type) it’s been consistent and takes me back to Sunday bbq around the pool or the smell of them cooking on the bbq camping at Orford.
