06.01.2022 Photos that we got from Portley Earthmoving after thr heavy rain. We went up yesterday and it was pouring rain. I was hoping it would break but it didn't. We couldn't really do much. We checked the plants near the camp, had a drive around and look at how things were with the recent rain. Not much different to when we were there before. Then went and spoke to a bloke about tractors, excavators, slashers, etc. With the rain not easing we thought instead of putting up the ca...mper on the block, we'd stay the night at the pub. 6pm come around and we were hungry, but the pub didn't do meals until Thursday night. Far out. We.checked the weather forecast and it said there was a 100% chance of 100ml of rain the next day. Stuff it. We decided to head back to Yack (via Clive and Rachel's place in Terrigal) Finally get home to Yack and we get these images and a video from Bob and Kerry. Not sure how much rain there was, but it was enough to block roads and flood the entry to our place. Lucky we didn't set up camp for the night cos we would have been stuck. Thanks for the images guys. Really appreciate it.
