24.01.2022 Really nice to be busy again and to see Queensland'rs enjoying their own state. What's even better is to see them surprised at the sheer beauty of the Great Barrier Reef & Rainforest coast & our world heritage jungle.

23.01.2022 Great to see a diverse range of Queensland tourists up here on the Cape York. Gold Coast , Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville & Atherton. All love the Aussie fire pit and freedom to enjoy the lodge and surrounds. Weather stunning, birds galore nice cool evenings around the fire. #capeyorksafeas

22.01.2022 Nature continues to amaze, just like the weather. BOM predicted a huge wet, lots of cyclones etc etc reality is quite the opposite as we bask in sunshine and continue to water the garden. Happy dayz.......love summer..j

13.01.2022 Many months now we have watched the world heritage nature cruise on, while the human population in turmoil. Nature unhindered, rocks on. Often hear when things go back to normal? Reality is we are in the new norm. Just got to stay smarter!

13.01.2022 Ring tail geckos on many a corner here! Did you know that Cyrtodactylus louisiadensis, starts with an adult laying of the egg in a small depression under buildings, then 9 months later hatching. The ring part of the name is not the stripes, its tail which is tightly circled from the shell looks like a perfect ring. After the first adult fight they loose the tail and the re-growth has no colouring.
