Victoria’s 2020 campaign theme ‘Respect is ’ is in recognition that gender inequality involves devaluing or disrespecting women or their contributions. Research has consistently found that disrespect for women increases the likelihood of violence against women. Putting the right items in the right bin goes a long way in reducing our waste and supporting our environment. Councils have a range of resources to help make recycling easier for their communities.
