17.01.2022 GET BRICEY BEHIND THE WHEEL This year we have chosen to support a former local and great family friend of the whole crew at Naracoorte Seeds, Charles Brice. We ...will be donating $5 from the sale of every 25kg bag of our Winter Mix to go towards buying a Volkswagon Transporter which will be re configured so that Charles can regain his independence once again. For those of you who haven’t heard it, Charles’ story is an exceptional one. A motorbike accident nearly 10 years ago left him a quadriplegic and led to many years of rehabilitation. Since then Charles has completed a journalism degree and begun working at the ABC as a media journalist. He is also the co-founder of the Wheel To Walk Foundation, which rode 300km last year to raise over $140,000 for spinal cord research. ‘Bricey’ has continued his bike riding pursuits, competing on the national level and collecting a couple of gold medals along the way! He has showed time and time again over this last 10 years that his resilience is unparalleled, which is part of the reason we have decided to give something back to him. We hope that the farming community of the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria can get behind this wonderful initiative and help to get him behind the wheel!
