25.01.2022 To celebrate the end of our Book Fair, tomorrow we will be holding an Arctic Adventure Dress Up Day! We encourage students to dress in their best arctic themed outfits or alternatively to come dressed as their favourite book character. We will be holding a runway parade at 8:45 for everyone to show off their outfits! Dont forget our book fair is open from 8:00-8:45am and 3:00-3:45pm until Friday afternoon so come on down and have a look! ... *PLEASE NOTE* Unfortunately due to the current health guidelines relating to social gatherings, the runway parade will be for students only.

25.01.2022 School Stream! This communications app is going to become our best and biggest form of communication. We will be able to send out updates and reminders, forms and permissions (which can be signed electronically on your phone), attach newsletters, photos and more! Search the app in your normal app store then search for Murarrie (if you sign up via email, you may need to check you junk mail for the verification code).

22.01.2022 Our Book Fair Runway was a big hit this morning!! We had an assortment of princesses, angels, super heroes, athletes, wizards, animals, fairies, storybook characters, snowmen & arctic explorers! Our P&C have also decided that the Book Fair will remain open until Tuesday afternoon so if you havent had a chance to have a look they will be open the following hours: Friday 28th 3:00-3:45pm... Monday 31st 8:00-8:45am & 3:00-3:45pm Tuesday 1st 8:00-8:45am & 3:00-3:45pm

18.01.2022 Congratulations to Lyrik from our 5/6 class for being one of the lucky winners in the Gateway Mutual Aid Group 2021 Calendar Competition. Lyrik created one of the twelve winning designs from the 187 submissions! Good job Lyrik!

17.01.2022 END OF YEAR AWARDS CELEBRATION Parents and caregivers are are invited to join us Thursday evening for the annual End of Year Awards Celebration. This year we will be using Eventbrite for contact tracing and record keeping. We ask that you please pre-register before entering the grounds tomorrow evening by reserving tickets with the details of all guests attending in the link below. Please note that students are not required to have their details recorded. 10.01.2022 This little gem has been kindly donated to our school by proud Murarrie local Jeff Hockey and Stephen Maciejewsji (cousin and proud Murarrie local). It is an amazing collection on information about the saleyard days of the Cannon Hill / Murarrie area. It can be found in our office foyer.

08.01.2022 I lovely gesture by our new teacher Miss Gilpin. Last Friday every child took home a rose and a card to show gratitude to someone special in their lives. With all the current uncertainty in the world at the moment, it was a lovely way to finish the week, being grateful to those who help us.
