We asked local kids to tell us about a special male figure in their life to promote awareness about the importance of men's health and the importance for men to visit their GP. Entries could be poems, stories, drawings and images. The kids were to include why that person is great, and what that person can do to stay happy and healthy. ... Like your favourite and share with friends, the picture with the most likes by Friday 24th July will receive a voucher to a local business to take their special male person and family for a meal to celebrate. We will have the entries on display in the clinic front window for you to view when walking past. We think the kids have done an amazing job and would like to congratulate all of them on their thoughtful and creative entries. 14.01.2022 Due to the current COVID-19 situation and our proximity to the Mitchell Shire, all appointments will be telephone and telehealth appointments unless the doctor has authorised an in person or Drive-Thru consult. To assist with this, we are now keeping the front doors locked at all times. If you need to attend the clinic, please ring 5826 2575 from your car or at the door. Our friendly staff will ask if you have ANY cold or flu like symptoms, loss of smell or taste or have tra...velled into a hot spot area or been in close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19. Your temperature will be taken at the door and then if there is space (up to 6 in the waiting room) you can sit in the waiting room, or you will be brought straight into the consult or treatment room. When possible to help free our phone lines up we encourage patients to book online here in the Facebook app or via the Hot Doc app. Please be patient with our staff as we navigate the way forward and try to assist with your enquiries. Antimicrobials are very precious and we are raising awareness of the problem of antibiotic resistance.
