14.01.2022 Check out our article in today’s Shepparton newspaper The fundraiser will be drawn on Friday, December 11 with all money raised going towards programs and services at the preschool. Fundraising has been difficult this year, Murchison Preschool teacher Rachael Pegg said. We have been so lucky to be donated this amazing mud kitchen for us to raffle.... The mud kitchen was donated by Dylan Beggs at DJBJ industries, who makes recycled products out of timber. We were so thankful, because if we can make some money that'll be brilliant, Ms Pegg said. It's very kind we've had a lot of heartbreak this year but there's a lot of good happening out there as well. With a length of 160 cm and a width of 62 cm, the kitchen will require a trailer for pick-up. Raffle tickets are $2 each or $5 for three. The funds raised will help the preschool to buy indoor resources and outdoor play equipment for the children. Ms Pegg said Murchison Preschool's two major fundraisers for the year a Mother's Day dinner in May which had been running for 20 years and a wood raffle, usually held later in the year, were both cancelled. That had a big impact on us, Ms Pegg said. She said it was devastating because the preschool liked to be able to supply the children with new equipment and resources. We only get so much funding from the government, Ms Pegg said. All these fundraisers let us go above and beyond and make kinder life a little bit more fun for the kids. Traffle tickets can be purchased at the preschool from Monday to Friday or via direct deposit. To buy a ticket via direct deposit, send funds to Murchison Preschool, BSB 083-798 and account number 515-897-785, with your name and ‘raffle’ as the reference. Ms Pegg thanked everyone who had already purchased tickets. We are a small community, and we all get behind each other and help each other out.

12.01.2022 Tomorrow is PJ day at kinder to celebrate the last day of term 2. If you want you can come to kinder in your PJs and bring a teddy as well. Pete the Cat and his friends are looking forward to meeting them We will be decorating teddy bear biscuits and making yummy pizza muffins.
