12.01.2022 MTFNC is holding their Annual Meeting next week. Come along to be part of your local football and netball club. We are about to start a very exciting year as we return to on field winter sport. We are also working behind the scenes to have a new facility built at the Murchison Recreation Reserve. There is a role for everyone!
12.01.2022 New Facilities at Murchison We’ve done plenty of work behind the scenes to get to a position where we can start lobbying for funds for a new sporting and social... facility for the Murchison & Toolamba communities. We’ve had a Master Plan drawn and we have professional concept plans to ensure we can cater for our sporting teams and community social events. We have piqued the interest of local, state and federal politicians - with all three levels of government seeing first hand how dilapidated our facilities are. Now we need to raise some funds. We are setting a target to put $100,000 away into designated building account. This money will go together with funding from local, state and federal governments contributions and not be touched by the regular running of our sporting club. So from now and into 2021, we will be running a community campaign to raise $100,000. How can we achieve this? It’s 100 people (or syndicates) putting in $1000 each towards buying a brick for the new building, just like the ones that have been displayed in Centenary Hall for the last 38 years. We are serious about having a facility that suits our growing community over the next 50 years. This will be my main objective through 2021. Let’s do this, Craig Thompson Murchison-Toolamba FNC President Brandan Reilly

07.01.2022 As mornings are often the time we might weigh ourselves, this logic works for me! If you are noticing a few COVID kilos, a short walk each day will help start to move them. Have a great day today and enjoy the sunshine.
