23.01.2022 .....HELLO! Hi there- Its ANNie-Rose here. From up on the Mallee. It has been AGES since we have used the MURDENA page- so I am spamming it with a small announcement that I am starting to gig again..solo...Akin to warming up the engine of the Old 1996 Ford Falcon Longreach Panel Van, I am chipping the rust off my harmonicas, restringing my old guitar and warming up my musical engine with TWO little acoustic gigs on the 20th and 21st of May to get things moving again. OMG. 20...th May at The Charles Weston, Brunswick 6:30-8:30pm 21st May at The Tramway Hotel in Fitzroy North 4-6pm Would be lovely to see some old faces and share beer, BEER! AND YES YES YES! 23.01.2022 Hello everyone! Annie here- I got some news for yas. Hugh and I have together decided that we are going to be discontinuing our band Murdena into the future. Murdena has been our first ever musical project and we are so, so proud of what this band has achieved! We both feel that it’s a good time for us to start a fresh and to focus on our own musical ventures. I would really like to thank our beautiful bandmates Daniel, Ivan and Mitch who have been with us through so many g...reat times and have taught Hugh and I so much about music, life and have brought our songs to levels well above what I had imagined my songs to reach. I bloody love you boys. I would also like to thank EVERYONE who has supported us; fans, bands, venues, festivals, family, mentors, loved ones and friends. We leave this band with happy and full hearts xxx SO! Murdena are going to play 3 more shows with the last show (TBC) as our album release show. The album release show will be more of a celebration and a thank you to everyone who has helped this band along the way so please keep an eye out for details. In the meantime... Our next two shows are: 29TH July at The Bella Union, Melbourne 6TH August at The Workers Club in Geelong. Would love to see you there, Many thanks and with love Annie and Hugh xxx
