19.01.2022 "Is it just that we’ve become so used to women dying through violence that we’ve run out of words?" Carrie Bickmore asks why the murder of 57 women in 2018 is yet to be seen as a national crisis. Thank you for keeping violence against women on the agenda, The Project

13.01.2022 This 'justice' system of ours is truly the worst. Just when we all thought that common sense had prevailed Alison's poor parents now have to front the Federal Court in a continued battle to keep her life insurance out of her murderer's hands. This is unacceptable and total nonsense, they lost their daughter, Alison's children lost their mum, they should not be put through this horror by the so called 'justice system'. The problem is that, as we found out the hard way, the Federal Court does not acknowledge domestic violence in it's rulings. According to the Federal Court of Australia Domestic Violence has no bearings on the distribution of life insurance, a disgusting stance to take! Hopefully the family will be successful and keep this monster from accessing Alison's life insurance.

12.01.2022 The long-awaited sequel to Murder By Suicide: A Parent's Worst Nightmare, documenting the aftermath of the judicial system failure, is due for release later this year. In the meantime, I have released my memoir on Amazon, with a section of the book dedicated to Claire-Margaret.

08.01.2022 Another murder by suicide! It broke my heart to read this. My heartfelt sympathies goes out to these parents. Hopefully they get answers and don’t give up until they do, I know we never will.

08.01.2022 I saw this today and it is so profound and meaningful I had to share it with you... I am wearing a pair of shoes. They are ugly shoes. Uncomfortable shoes. I hate my shoes. Each day I wear them, and each day I wish I had another pair. Some days my shoes hurt so bad that I do not think I can take another step. Yet, I continue to wear them. I get funny looks wearing these shoes. They are looks of sympathy. I can tell in others eyes they are glad they are my ...shoes and not the...irs.... They never talk about my shoes. To learn how awful my shoes are might make them uncomfortable. To truly understand these shoes you must walk in them. But, once you put them on, you can never take them off. I now realize that I am not the only one who wears these shoes. There are many pairs in this world. Some women are like me and ache daily as they try to walk in them. Some have learned to walk in them, so they don't hurt quite as much. Some have worn the shoes so long that days go by before they think about how much they hurt. No woman deserves to wear these shoes. Yet, because of these shoes I am a stronger woman. These shoes give me strength to face anything. They have made me who I am. I will forever walk in the shoes of a woman who has lost a child........... See more
