22.01.2022 Clerkship season is fast approaching, and you may be wondering how do you actually, clerk? If you are heading into clerkship and vacationer season, want to lear...n tips & tricks for your current law position or ask questions about the whole experience, then this seminar is for you! The seminar is designed to be an honest and helpful insight into clerking. Please sign up through the below link to ensure you get FREE PIZZA (!), and an email after the seminar with guides and documents cover the clerkship process and research tips. The seminar will be in two parts - a presentation on how to deal with a task (and how to get work in the first place) and a panel discussion from successful clerks. 1. Dealing with a task Dealing with a task presentation will be a 30-minute presentation on tips & tricks you can utilise while clerking and in your professional work experience. The presentation will cover: getting work, taking instructions, progress, finalising the task, and what to do after you have finished. 2. Panel Presentation The panel will be four volunteer students who have successfully obtained a 2020 graduate role from a clerkship. The students have clerked across a range of boutique to top tier international firms. The panellists will be asked for their honest insights into their clerkship experience, how to navigate the process and answer all your burning questions.
