12.01.2022 As you would have seen over the weekend, the Health Department is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Perth. As previously advised, Murdoch University will recommence with the delivery of on-campus teaching and research, from Monday, with necessary COVID-19 safety measures in place. Before returning to campus, please carefully consider the following advice:... Please continue to check possible exposure sites listed on the WA Health website: loom.ly/3ArNoSE If you have been to any of the exposure sites within the relevant prescribed times and dates, you must isolate and get tested in accordance with WA Health Department advice. Please do not come to campus if you feel unwell in any way, and immediately seek advice from WA Health. We ask that if you are suspected or confirmed as having COVID-19 you advise the University, through your teaching staff as soon as possible. Masks are now required to be worn at all times, indoors and outdoors, unless exempt by WA Health as per updated advice issued to the public on Saturday 1 May, 2021. As always, we ask you adhere to our COVID-19 Campus Protocols including scanning into venues using the SafeWA app or register provided. More: loom.ly/8_wWnqo Thank you for your support in adhering to these essential requirements as we return to campus. 01.01.2022 Australia always has been, and always will be, land of First Nations people. Though over the years our university campus has changed physically, the stories and significance of the land, boodjar, lives on as a rich, central part of Indigenous Australian culture. In the spirit of the 2020 NAIDOC theme 'Always Was, Always Will Be', we look to the traditional custodians of the land - Noongar and Whadjuk Elders - to share their stories with us.
