17.01.2022 Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19) Our Murgon Judo club Inc. will continue our small regular classes, while also monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Queensland. While future measured and considered responses may entail the need to close classes on short notice, this will occur when authorities consider it appropriate for small community clubs like ours to do so. Please keep and eye on you're email and social media (facebook). As Judo is a contact martial art, Murgon Judo club ...Inc. would like to update you on the precautions we can collectively take to address the situation at our Dojo. The health and wellbeing of our members and their families is our priority. Before coming to training please ensure you only train in a clean gi, wash your hands before and immediately after training, and only attend training if you are 100% fit and healthy. Good personal hygiene is recommended to minimise the spread of COVID-19. Detailed guidance is provided at a website site established by the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention https://www.cdc.gov//commu/home/cleaning-disinfection.html). Australian specific guidance and news is also available at the Australian Governments Department of Health website https://www.health.gov.au/news As of today, it is our understanding that there are NO confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Murgon. Good personal health practices and measured community actions based on considered professional guidance will assist us collectively to adapt as community needs change. 15.01.2022 Australian Kodokan Judo Association 2020 AKJA National Judo Championships - ADELAIDE 2nd - 4th October 2020 at Christian Brothers Colege Gymnasium located in the Adelaide CBD.

14.01.2022 March was an exciting time for our Judo club with a total of 5 Junior gradings, 2 Junior 4th Kyu and 3 Junior 5th Kyu I was very pleased with the effort put in. Congratulations to Crissy, Talen, Caelin, Cheyanne and Archer

03.01.2022 Queensland sporting associations are constantly reviewing and responding to how the current recommendations presented in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19) should be addressed with considered measures. With the current threat of COVID-19 impacting the health and welfare of Australians, Murgon Judo Club and the QKJA are closely monitoring formal advice from the Australian Government Department of Health and other State and Federal Government authorities. Murgon Judo Club and t...he QKJA will continue to keep our sporting community updated on matters relating to our collective membership. At the same time, all our Queensland Judo Clubs are encouraged to maintain their high standards of community engagement and to continue seeking guidance from their respective local, state and commonwealth health and government authorities.

02.01.2022 In consideration of the Corona Virus Threat and the Social Distance protocols being set by the Australian Government, judo classes will be suspended from 7.30 p...m Friday 20th March and will be reviewed at the end of the upcoming school holidays.
