09.01.2022 Two weeks after the most successful MMM to date, I think we have finally recovered! We would like to thank everyone involved for the fabulous effort put in by everyone. A special thanks must go to the Murgon and Surrounds business houses who supported the event and also for making all the visitors feel very welcome to this beautiful region. To our Volunteers, you are the backbone to this successful event year after year, we acknowledge and appreciate every single one of you ...for all of the hours you contributed to the Murgon Music Muster, Thank you!! A massive thank you to all the patrons in the 355 caravans who attended, each year bringing your neighbors, friends and families along with you to experience an ever growing festival. Music brings great joy to people's lives and brings everyone together as a family, this year was no exception. We welcomed his Excellency the Honourable Paul De Jersey AC, the Governor of QLD to visit Murgon and to officially open the 2019 Murgon Music Muster. Community Groups were invited to meet with the Governor, including School Leaders, Police, Fire and Aged Care Residents. We thank the Governor for his attendance and for officiating at our event. 2020 MMM planning is already well underway with exciting news to come!! Last but not least, a huge thanks to the Rotary Club of Murgon Members, Partners and Familes and to the visiting Rotarians from Bisbane and the Sunchine Coast Clubs, for their range of duties carried out throughout the week of the Muster to ensure that our visitors were comfortable and enjoying their time spent in Murgon. 04.01.2022 The Rotary Club of Murgon and The Murgon Music Muster Committee regret to inform our loyal patrons that due to circumstances arising from COVID 19, our 2020 Murgon Music Muster has had to be postponed until further notice. With the escalation of further cases rising in Victoria and now NSW the decision had to be made to protect the safety of our patrons, visitors and community. We understand this will impact our local business houses of Murgon, Tourist Operators, Artists, Ba...nd Members, Sound Producers and Patrons but our priority is everyone's safety.
