24.01.2022 Rear reflectors to suit my CNC quck jacks are now available for $80 per pair plus postage.

17.01.2022 Working on a batch of stainless steel Cobra roll bars. These are 2" diameter 3mm wall 304 stainless.

17.01.2022 Prototyping some new parts. Got the programming and fixtures sorted for roll bar bezels to suit Cobras.

13.01.2022 Playing around with speeds and feeds to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times. I found that rather than doing two seperate passes cutting 4.5mm deep each I can do a single pass at a full 9mm depth of cut. Slower feed rate but the overall time is reduced. This mill is much more rigid than my old machine and seems to handle it well. I'm tempted to up the feed rate and find the limits. However I'm waiting on new carbide cutters to arrive and don't want to risk breaking one of the last couple I have on hand.

04.01.2022 I've been bending up a few roll hoops lately in 2" x 3mm wall 304 stainless. This is about as tough as it gets for this tube bender. Several years back I did a hydraulic conversion on it enabling me to bend heavier stuff. I noticed the other day when I was loading the dies that it was little tough getting the main pin in. On closer inspection I found it was bent like a banana. This is a 1" thick steel pin! I turned up new pins from some stainless rod that I had in the rack. (probably not a lot stronger but they look nice and wont rust).
