23.01.2022 Frosty has been sold, thank you everyone for your interest If you missed Frosty’s ad, here is a small video of her. She is 14.2 and 5 years old. All videos were taken in the last month, young girl riding is 9 years old and lady rider is only in her first season for drafting and she rode Frosty in her first draft this morning, proving just how quiet this mare is. Last part of the video is Frosty’s first clinic at the beginning of December. Located in Ballarat.

22.01.2022 One of the saddest things about lockdown is that we won’t get to start this cool pony in 2020 by the looks of it. But if we are lucky, 2021 will be the year he makes his debut in the campdraft arena. Look out for Cool As An Acre in the future!

16.01.2022 Thrills and spills. A good training foundation is extremely important. In this instance, setting this gelding up for a nervous rider with young horses and showing him that if I fall off, it’s ok.

12.01.2022 Very proud of my favourite daughter, Rachel, on my favourite boy, Mobile Pricetag, getting 21, 4 and 62 for an 87 in the Young Guns at Nutrien Equine Classic. Fingers crossed that’s enough to get her in the final on Tuesday night.

08.01.2022 As you all know, the SCA campfraft season has finished. I had the pleasure of drafting Chalani Tempo for most of the season, winning a maiden through to winning his open and placing numerous times in between. He was also good enough to take out the maiden horse of the year title in the SCA and placed in the novice horse of the year after getting ribbons in both opens at Maldon - making him a ribbon winner in three states. I’d like to say a big thank you to his owner, Janita Edwards, for trusting me to campaign Tempo on her behalf.

08.01.2022 Australia Day weekend achievements Chalani Tempo won Saturday’s open with a 90 in the first round and an 86 in the final. Honey won Sunday’s open by one point in the run off with scores of 89, 90 and 88. It was an honour to win the first Les Godfrey Memorial Trophy. A big thank you to sponsors, cattle donors and the Fleurieu Campdraft Club Inc. committee for a great weekend and congratulations to all other winners and place getters. 05.01.2022 Yesterday was my first clinic using the water buffalo. We did a trial clinic to make sure I was happy with how the buffalo were performing before I advertise the clinics using them. Instead of taking the money from this clinic, we decided to donate it to Tj Nicholson. He is doing amazing work carting hay and supplies to properties affected by the drought and bush fires through Corryong district and East Gippsland districts. He is doing this off his own back so he needs all ...the help he can get. If anyone wants to donate money, hay, dog food, home cooked frozen meals or baking he would really appreciate it. Our money will go towards whatever TJ needs, that could be fuel or maintenance for the truck, tie downs or labour hire - we trust he will put it to good use helping all the rural families suffering at this time. . . . . @ Creswick, Victoria See more

04.01.2022 Guy McLean is a 10/10 for whip cracking. I am about a 6/10 But the owner of this filly admits she’s around a -10 Therefore I spent time on ‘chorus’ (by Chalani Tempo) to accept to be hit with the whip (by accident) in her future show career.
