23.01.2022 You can apply for a NSW Border Permit via the link below, as some people have been able to do already. However, the site may be having difficulty with the numbe...r of applications. To be eligible for a permit, you must be one of the following: - a NSW resident returning home - a cross-border resident (living within 50 km of the NSW border) - a member of parliament or staff member - a consular official or security services worker - a person providing critical services (freight and logistics, maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure, medical or hospital care, mining, agricultural, construction, engineering or manufacturing and Commonwealth defence and security services) - a seasonal worker - a boarding school/university student or a parent/guardian accompanying a student a carer for an individual entering NSW. You're also eligible for a permit if you are: - transiting through NSW on your way home to your state/territory of residence - carrying out child access and care arrangements - receiving an essential medical treatment with a medical practitioner or hospital in NSW - required or authorised by or under law to travel to NSW, including for a court appearance - applying on compassionate grounds (e.g. visiting a terminally ill person). 07.01.2022 CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS - Abbotsford Bridge As at 1.00pm today Thursday 9 July the Bridge will be open only from NSW entering Victoria. One way traffic only ...from NSW. No access from Victoria This will be the case up until 6.00am Monday 13 July 2020. From 6.00am Monday 13 July 2020 the Bridge will become a State Border checking station for traffic entering from Victoria. That is as of this time 6.00am Monday 13 July 2020 traffic from both directions may gain access to the other state. As currently exists Emergency vehicles have access. Please ensure you have your COVID-19 NSW border declaration permit displayed to enable quick processing through the checking station. Safe Travelling

06.01.2022 Our residents are enjoying some gorgeous flowers gifted by the Australian Inland Botanical Gardens. These have been distributed around the facility for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to the staff at Botanical Gardens for their caring gesture.
