As of 1 July 2019 all trainers and assessors need to hold the following (as per Standards for RTOs Schedule 2): + TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor... OR + TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment AND + TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor or TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills AND + TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor or TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools or TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools. FULL UPGRADE In order to upgrade to the new TAE40116 you will need to hold both of the above units AND Complete gap training for two non-equivalent units: + TAEASS401 Plan assessment activities and processes AND TAEASS403 Participate in assessment validation. 15.01.2022 RTO Response to current events: Our TAE qualifications are delivered with a mix of face to face workshops and through our learning management system (LMS). If needs be we have the capability to move everything on line through online platforms and coaching via phone and other digital platforms. Our TAE upgrade is now going fully online with coaching support. If you still need to complete this upgrade then now might be a good time.... Our WHS qualifications are fully online and can be completed via our LMS with the full support of your WHS trainer and assessor. You will still receive the same high level of training, assessing and support but our delivery mode may change. Now might be the ideal time to focus your energy on something productive. Until further notice it is business as usual with any courses booked. We have three courses running consecutively next week, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, the 5 Day Health and Safety Representatives Course and Excel. Whilst you are at the centre we will practise all the recommended precautions to remain safe such as keeping a 1.5m distance at all times from other people on the course and practising hand washing and sanitising. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS THEN PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE CENTRE AND PRACTISE SELF ISOLATION AS RECOMMENDED. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR COURSE AT A LATER DATE OR YOU CAN BE MOVED TO ONLINE WHILST SELF ISOLATING. THE HEALTH OF OUR COMMUNITY AND FAMILIES IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE RIGHT NOW.
