Come along to our Stepping into Change group run by a qualified alcohol and drug counsellor. This program is free to attend and a referral is not needed. ... 19.01.2022 Yesterday, the Matrix program celebrated its first graduation with four successful participants. Matrix is an intensive outpatient rehabilitation program for people needing help to address their problematic opioid or methamphetamine use. This group program takes serious commitment from its participants as there are 53 modules to learn and complete - this process takes a minimum of 16 weeks. Each of our graduates worked hard in the program and transferred their learning to cr...eate positive and healthy changes in their personal lives. Well done to our Matrix graduates! 07.01.2022 Today is National Sorry Day - a day which acknowledges and raises awareness of the history and continued effect of the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from their families, communities and cultures. This day also begins National Reconciliation Week, which runs from May 27th to June 3rd. The theme this year is "More than a word, Reconciliation takes action". Knowing the challenges that our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have experienced, we encourage you to think about what about what action you can take or do to contribute to reconciliation.
