16.01.2022 Murray River Houseboats wanted to take the time to touch base and wish you all the very best through this unprecedented time that has been so difficult for all throughout the world. We hope you are all coping as well as can be expected. We have had our family including twin 4 year olds, self isolating which has been a nice distraction. We have also been busy trying to make the most of this time, whilst our boats are in dock, and have been detailing the boats to the nth degree.... We have always had an emphasis on presentation and offering very clean boats, however this is another level basically pulling everything apart and inside out. On a positive note, we are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel and Ken and I believe, and there is already an indication, that we will be very busy once the restrictions are lifted, as it is unlikely that most Australians will desire or be permitted to travel overseas for some time. With this in mind we thought it was a good time to be proactive, to ensure that potential guests who are looking for a lovely getaway don’t leave it too late to enquire. Our website will also give you a good understanding of what we have, and strive to offer as a holiday destination. Hopefully our customer reviews on TripAdvisor, our Facebook page and google reviews will give you comfort to know that we all try very hard to offer a memorable experience. 15.01.2022 Murray River Houseboats would like to take the opportunity to offer comfort and reassurance to our customers and Facebook followers that it is business as usual for our fleet. In fact due to the restrictions on travel and because of our recent feature on Channel 9's Getaways, we have been inundated with enquiries. One of our current guests commented only today, that this is a lovely place to be during this time of turmoil and it feels like a safe haven. We would also like... to mention that our hearts go out to those who have been affected by this unforeseen situation and we have certainly had some cancellations from our NZ and overseas guests. However due to the increased inquiry we have been successful in refilling some of those bookings, allowing us to provide a refund to these overseas guests. We will naturally continue to endeavour to help where we can. We can only hope that these difficult times will be resolved as soon as possible. Murray River Houseboats would also like to wish all the very best to those affected by these difficult conditions, and hopefully we can all stay positive as we all move forward.
