14.01.2022 A tough day for U14 Boys Div 3 (normally Div 2) Going down in 2 games. Game 1 verses Millicent unfortunately a loss - 18 to 50, followed by this afternoon's game against Naracoote sadly losing by 10 in a gutsy fight back. Well done boys! Keep enjoying your basketball.

14.01.2022 Hello Team Bullets, As you are all aware the Mt Gambier carnival has been cancelled due to Covid, which is extremely unfortunate. Mt Gambier Basketball Association is looking at some alternative times to host their carnival and we need to support them in their decision making. There isn’t many free weekends available and they are trying their best under difficult circumstances. ... Please be respectful with your comments below. We need to advise them ASAP of the following options- Play the carnival in Mt Gambier on the 13th and 14th of February 2021. We must remind you that we have already committed to the Yorkers Carnival the following weekend 20th/21st February. Our options are: 1- We do both carnivals as agreed, albeit the Mt Gambier dates have moved back Or 2- We advise Mt Gambier that we won’t be attending the carnival in February. Can I please ask all the Team Managers and Coaches to reach out to their players/families on your message groups and get some feedback ASAP. Please email Kim Perriman with your preferred options. I want to take this opportunity to thank Matt Sutton and his team at Mt Gambier Basketball for considering alternative dates as working around the Covid is extremely difficult. Regards Bullets Commitee.

13.01.2022 U14 Bullets Girls Div 1 In the morning the girls played a good team game to beat Millicent in the minor round by 1 point. They continued their good form against the Lakers in the semi final. The game went into extra time and they won by 2 points. They played Millicent again in the grand final with scores level at 3/4 time, but they ended up losing by 9. Thanks again to Nathan and Emily for coaching over the weekend.

12.01.2022 The U14 boys division 1 bullets team were prepared for the hot weather today, they had a great training this morning before the heat set in. Fully timed, umpired and scored game. Team B coming out with the win. 71 to 56. Then on for a quick swim and more Bball in a different format. Well done boys

07.01.2022 Bullets U14 Boys played Millicent this morning to progress to the semi, then won against Millicent again to go through to the grand final. The boys played very hard including 2 overtime’s, unfortunately to go down by 3 points to Naracoorte. The boys should be very proud they’ve played great team basketball all weekend!

03.01.2022 U12 Bullets Girls Day 2 of the carnival began with a tight game against the Naracoorte Kings, unfortunately girls went down by 2pts, 14-16. Second and final game for day saw the girls lift and play a fantastic game of defence to take their first win for the season against Millicent Magic 22-19. Huge thanks to our sponsor - Worklocker Coach - Shaun Clayson, and to all the supporters and officials at the carnival this weekend. Thankyou to the Mount Gambier Basketball Association for a fantastic event.
