15.01.2022 Referee Update After completing the level 0 theory course a couple of weeks ago and the subsequent exam, many of our referees have had a game graded by Rachel or Dean in their on-court competency booklet. The following referees successfully achieved full competency for a game and have completed their level 0 accreditation, most of which are pictured below. Congratulations to everyone and thankyou for all your hard work Caden Evans... Nick Huxtable Rosie Vowles Tyler Edwards Dean Rossiter Curtis Mundy Craig Gillett Oscar Coull Fenix Coull Also a special shout-out to our UIC Rachel Paech who achieved her 1B referee accreditation around the same time as all these guys. If you are required to be here for more than one game and have no option but to wait at the stadium please watch court 3 so that you are not crowding courts 1 and 2 or preventing a parent from being able to sit down to watch their child. Thank you for your cooperation with this.... MBBA Committee See more

12.01.2022 Umpiring Achievements In the past week we have had the chance to see two of our young umpires take the next step in their umpiring endeavours. Rosie Vowles got the opportunity to referee a couple of junior district games on Friday night and the feedback was extremely positive. She did so well for her first time and they are excited to have her back. ... A few weeks ago Rachel began her pre-umpiring course with a few young aspiring referees, including Lexie Buick. Lexie was doing exceptionally well during those sessions, Rachel gave her the opportunity to umpire her very first game on Tuesday night. Not only did Lexie smash it, she did better than anyone could’ve hoped for in her first game that she did 3 full quarters by herself, with no shadower. This is a daunting task but she stood up, took it head on and was amazing. Congratulations girls
11.01.2022 Hello Murray Bridge Basketball Community The below statement has been put out by Basketball SA. To comply with this we are cancelling all games and trainings at our stadium effective immediately. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay Safe
11.01.2022 Once again, we just want to sincerely thank Anthony (Sted) Edwards, Bruce Kerr and Grant Wagenknecht for volunteering their free time this past weekend to install the last two new scoreboards down on court 3. 11.01.2022 Bridge Hoops Reminder Tomorrow night is presentation night. 6:20 in the clubrooms.
10.01.2022 *Referee Debut* On Monday night another aspiring referee in Max Reljich (pictured below) got to take the next step in his journey and do his first game. Max is another junior ref who was a part of Rachels pre referee course, which he did awesome in, and got the opportunity to ref his first game. ... Max, much like Archie and Lexie who also did Rachel’s program, did all the preparation he needed before doing his first. He did extremely well and was able to do the second half of the game all by himself under the watchful eye of Rachel. Well done Max and congratulations

Strict social distancing and hygiene rules are still in place.
