22.01.2022 Hello Choir Friends! I hope you all had a lovely summer holiday. We are super excited to start back with Choir in Term 1! It is a very special time, because we are celebrating our 5 Year Birthday!! However, our party will have to be on hold for the first 2 weeks of term. It's a "wait and see" situation, as you all will understand. I look forward to an update on 11 Feb. In the meantime, warm up those voices at home and get ready to celebrate!

22.01.2022 Today is the last rehearsal for Term 1! We will be in the SC building across from the picnic area due to the Matilda Musical Rehearsals in our normal room. See you this afternoon! :)

21.01.2022 Adventures in Solfege sight singing! Reading and singing notes at first sight is a skill all musicians practice throughout their lives. Very proud of the Senior Choir for stepping up their musical game today!

16.01.2022 The Murray Bridge Children's Choir got out and about yesterday for a bit of fun at Latitude! Senior Choir members enjoyed time together outside of our regular Choir rehearsals. A very special thank you to all the parents for making the trek into town for our excursion. Building friendships and memories

12.01.2022 We start every rehearsal with singers improvising and leading on the drums. We develop our sense of rhythm, listening and creating music on the spot. We ended our rehearsal (after much singing!) with a little parachute fun to learn musical form. I think it's safe to say we jam packed it all into our 45 minute session!

11.01.2022 That's a wrap, 2021! What an amazing year! I am absolutely thrilled with all we have experienced in choir over the last 12 months. It's been a wondeful year of singing, not taking a single moment for granted. A few special ones to recognise: New Life Members of the Murray Bridge Children's Choir, having sung with us for 5 years! 30.12.2021 Wow, what a great night! Congratulations to all who helped organise and perform the #murraybridgecarols in 2021! I heard there were over 800 audience members, delighting in the gorgeous setting by the Murray River. We should all feel proud! The #murraybridgechildrenschoir was fortunate to perform for this event. I am proud of each and every one of you. I hope you feel proud too. Merry Christmas to our very cherished community.
