25.01.2022 What a fantastic carnival. Thank you again to all our helpers. Referees, timers, officials, catering, raffle and packer uppers! Special thanks to all the swimmers who attended and swam so well in the newly refurbished pool despite the blocks not arriving. Lastly a shout out to our carnival director Wade Smith and Michelle Doyle Swimming SA CEO who got our event on track with Covid. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Bigger and better.

17.01.2022 Just a last few reminders about tomorrow. Please be sun safe with hats, sunscreen, shade and shirts. Bathrooms are not for social use. Please use and leave. Bathrooms have limits posted on doors- if congested wait outside- 1.5m apart. We would prefer swimmers arrive in bathers were possible or clubs bring a change tent.... There are bathrooms at water park (river end) and a disabled bathroom at city end. These are best for family groups. We are a card preferred event. At the gate you will be asked to check in via swimming SA iPad and covid check in. Please be patient. We will have pre-ordered programs ready for collection at gate.

14.01.2022 A new president for Swimming Australia! Good move!? One of Australia’s greatest distance swimmers, two-time Olympic gold medallist Kieren Perkins has been... named as the new head of Aussie swimming. Perkins takes over the vacant position after John Bertrand departed last week. "I have a strong desire to maintain swimming’s position as Australia’s most successful Olympic sport and with only a year out from Tokyo, it’s important to keep a level of stability and focus," he said.

09.01.2022 Gates open at 7.30am Warm up is scheduled no exceptions. Marquees are considered indoor venues. Please preference setting up under the trees as they are natural shade (1:2sqm) . If you bring a marquee it must only have 1 person per 4 sqm. A 3x3 marquee can only have 2 people under it unless they are from the same household. You will need to supply your own weights- no pegs allowed. Please do not join marquees together. Estimated finish time is 2.20pm
