23.01.2022 Flu vaccine update We have received limited stock of flu vaccines for our over 65’s and Medically At Risk patients. We are doing our best to fit our patients in and also follow social distancing requirements. We have a limited number of private vaccines available now for $15.... These deliveries are intermittent dependent upon stock availability. We also have designated delivery areas and ordering times governed by the Immunisation Unit. Please call and we will book you in to the next available appointment. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this busy time

21.01.2022 *** IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING FACE MASKS *** Under the new SA Health Direction coming into effect at midnight tonight, all healthcare facilities, including GP practices require: All people (including patients, patient’s family members, healthcare staff, administrative staff, contractors and cleaning staff) are required to wear single use surgical masks when on healthcare sites. Cloth masks are not sufficient for healthcare settings.... There are exceptions to mask wearing in some situations, such as, certain breathing difficulties, mental health conditions, communication with deaf or hard of hearing community members, people under the age of 12. A health care setting includes, GP practices, public and private hospitals and specialist practices, including drug and alcohol facilities, pharmacies, allied health services, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, dental services.

13.01.2022 COVID-19 VACCINATION Murray Bridge Day Night Surgery are pleased to advise that we have been approved to provide the Covid-19 vaccine Phase 1B which is expected for delivery in April. We anticipate clinics to begin shortly after. The Astra Zeneca vaccine consists of two doses 12 weeks apart. Please note, only a small volume of vaccines has been allocated to locations for delivery on a fortnightly basis. The practice is required to perform an eligibility check for every patien...t prior to booking therefore we have implemented strict guidelines for booking eligible patients. You have left or transited through Iran or China in the last 14 days You have been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 14 days You have been specifically tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results You have left or transited through China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea or Thailand in the last 14 days AND you are experiencing any of the following fever, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath. We continue to serve all of our patients with the same level of care and excellence during this difficult time maintaining services albeit provision is slightly differently. Rest assured, we have all measures in place to keep our patients our staff and our doctors as safe as possible. ... Some important information for our patients; Appointments on site are still available where face-to-face consultations are essential. Current scheduled appointments may be converted upon request to a telephone consult by calling the surgery on 8531 2988 Phone bulk bill consultations will be offered to patients who have visited our surgery within the past 12 months. However the process may be that you enter the clinic (after screening) into one of our separated isolation rooms. It is really crucial to declare honestly any travel or contacts that you have had when asked. These triaging questions are precautions which we need to undertake to maintain the health of other people, our support staff and General Practitioners. 01.01.2022 Fluvax Information Flu vaccine has been the most frequently asked question of the past 4 weeks along with the COVID 19 information. If you are self-isolating you immediately reduce your risk of contracting the Influenza. Flu vaccines will be arriving on and off over the next few weeks. Please be patient as stocks are dependent upon delivery within regional areas, government and private supply, age groups of different brands and strains. Our staff at front counter are inun...dated at the moment with phone calls about the flu vax. We will send text messages when available or provide updates on the Facebook page Please know that stock is being administered in a very careful process which immediately slows up the rate of us being able to get through them.
