21.01.2022 Saturday 21 November is the big day and in preparation its time to find your printed barcode (or print out a new one, or two - maybe keep one in the car). Having a printed barcode with you is the only way to get your parkrun recorded - so its pretty important to remember to bring your printed barcode on the day. Get your barcode ready and check out the COVID-19 Walker and Runner Code for when we return on the 21st.

17.01.2022 Ten days and counting! Woo hoo Who would like to be a orange hero for the start of our parkrun event. If so, how about checking out our roster and register to volunteer. Simply check out the volunteer page on the Murray Bridge parkrun website. https://www.parkrun.com.au/murraybridge/futureroster/... Now is also a great time to download / update the virtual volunteer app and familiarise yourself with the COVID-19 Volunteer Code.
17.01.2022 The team are getting ready to bring the parkrun back to Murray Bridge on the 21 November, and things may seem a little different. When Murray Bridge parkrun resumes it will be at the alternative Course B, located at Hume Reserve. This is due to construction works being undertaken at Sturt Reserve. Once we have approval to use the normal parkrun Course we will let you know here on Facebook. Course B starts and finishes at Hume Reserve and the turn around point is at the pump... station. The course runs along the levee bank parallel to the river. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond our control, dogs and prams are not allowed on this course. There are some volunteers vacancies for the 21st, if you would like to be a high vis hero please let us know. There are a couple of extra ones volunteer roles required as well - turn around volunteer and a halfway marshal. If you are able to help out and put your name down please let us know. https://www.parkrun.com.au/murraybridge/futureroster/
15.01.2022 Evening fellow Murray Bridge parkrunners With the implementation of new restrictions around COVID-19, the regulations are being carefully considered and clarification sought by parkrun Australia. We will bring you the decision when it is handed to us. In the meantime, thank you for your patience.... Please stay COVID-safe.
15.01.2022 We would like your help. Previously at Murray Bridge parkrun we used this box to hold people’s barcodes for them. Due to COVID-19 we have had to say goodbye to the box and existing barcodes.... If everyone can please re-print their barcode and look after your own from now on and remember to bring each Saturday to parkrun. Alternatively you can purchase one of these at https://parkrun-shop.com.au Wristbands Flatbands Key tags or Plastic Card

04.01.2022 Formal advice received from Head Office.... Due to todays announcement from the South Australian Government, the reopening of parkrun in South Australia due this Saturday 21 November will now be delayed by a minimum of two weeks.
03.01.2022 Just one week to go - who's excited?!?! There are still some space for volunteers so send us a message if you want to grab a volunteer spot: Timekeeper Photographer... Half way marshal When SA parkrun events return they will all be transitioning to the Virtual Volunteer app. This won’t change much at Murray Bridge as we have been using the app. Anyone who is likely to do a scanning or timer role, please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the volunteer app - it has some fancy new features. Here is an excellent video demonstrating the features too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwnTrEAoWdw&feature=share
01.01.2022 MYTH-BUSTING TIME! Myth: I might come last at parkrun and it could be embarrassing Nobody ever finishes last at parkrun. We are not a race
