17.01.2022 A hot day brings out the crowds! Unfortunately due to the restrictions we face as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic not everyone was able to enjoy the newly upgraded Murray Bridge Swimming Centre yesterday, which was disappointing for all. We are currently working to upgrade our processes, recruit additional lifeguards and facilitate the attendance of as many patrons as possible. ... We thank the community for your patience as we work though this and we look forward to welcoming you throughout the summer to enjoy what is a great asset for our community.
17.01.2022 The heat is coming! Sunday and Monday are looking like sunny days and we understand many members of our community will be looking to take a dip in the pool. COVID restrictions means the number of patrons inside the facility is limited. There may be waiting times at the gate for entry or entry may be restricted in its entirety. We ask visitors to the centre to please be patient with staff and to be mindful of others when considering how long you choose to stay at the pool. ... We are working to better our processes and increase our resources to facilitate a higher number of patrons in the centre and hope to have these measures in place by the school holidays for all to enjoy over summer. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

03.01.2022 Temperatures reached above 40c today and more high temperatures are expected over the weekend. Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 restrictions (in place until Tuesday 1 December), pools are NOT open for public access to recreational swimmers. They are only open for rehabilitation and fitness (lap swimming). The advice from Recreation SA to avoid disappointment is to: plan ahead, check to see if the Centre is open and make a booking if required... ONLY attend for fitness or rehabilitation swimming come properly prepared if you do visit and WATCH AROUND WATER to keep your family safe. We would love to see you at Murray Bridge Swimming Centre, and we value your business, but we may have to turn visitors away if you are not swimming for fitness or rehabilitation purposes. We can’t wait to see you again once these restrictions have been lifted. #RecreationSA #SAHealth #LGA #SACouncils #PartOfYourEveryday #RuralCityOfMurrayBridge #MurrayBridgeSwimmingCentre
