15.01.2022 NEW SIGNING ALERT Christmas has come early for all fans at The Nest! We are stoked to announce the signing of Cam Wild for 2021.... Cam joins us from Shepparton United and the Northern Blues where he had signed for 2020 before Covid struck. After the season in Victoria was cancelled Cam headed West and played in the SANFL with Central Districts before venturing North and finishing up at NTFL side the Waratah’s! Cam will now come to Whittlesea at the ripe old age of 20 to play for The Nest. Cam is a workhorse through the midfield. He earned Vic Country honours and racked up the ball at will. He played TAC cup in 2019 with the Murray Bushrangers’. As an on baller he was a consistent force all season thanks to his high work rate. In cam’s final year for the Bushrangers’ he averaged 23.8 disposals, 4.3 marks and spent considerable time on a wing, particularly in the second half of the season using his running power to outlast his opponents. Wild is a hard worker with a cracking attitude that will see him push himself to the limits as shown on game day. He will fill any role given to him. We look forward to Welcoming Cam down The Nest in 2021 and seeing what he can do on the field.

15.01.2022 Former Murray Bushranger and Shepparton United thirds premiership player, Ed Adams, has signed on and is coming home. Ed spent 2019 at Grovedale Football C...lub in which he was a key player in the strong Geelong Football League and is now returning to Deakin Reserve where he played his first senior game for us in 2016 as a 16 year old. Being a classy left footer, 188cm and with the flexibility to either set play up across half back or go forward and kick goals, Ed will be a key player in 2021. Welcome home mate.

09.01.2022 Full time Men’s Premier League: Nightcliff Tigers Football Club 14.13.97 defeated St Mary's Football Club 6.9.45. The trend continued in the third with St Mary’...s starting the quarter on fire, kicking the first. The Tigers went on to kick the next three. The pressure dropped off from the first half, but the game stayed relatively congested. The score at three quarter time was Nightcliff 10.11.71 leading 6.5.41. The Tigers kicked the first in the last quarter, with the ball living inside the Saints’ forward half from this point until Kyle Emery kicked a goal ten minutes later.
