22.01.2022 Due to the quick drying of the grasses and the increase/fluctuation in temperatures around the Council area, the Council wishes to remind people of the heighten...ed risk of a fire and the impact this can have on land and personal assets. Taking these risks into account the Rural City of Murray Bridge has ceased issuing Domestic Burning Permits until after the conclusion of the Fire Danger Season, scheduled to end on 15th April 2018. Alternative arrangements for the disposal of garden waste other than burning should be made, including the use of landfills and waste disposal facilities. The Council appreciates the cooperation of residents in understanding the risks and respecting the safety of the community.
