13.01.2022 Since 2006, The Horizon Committee & Murray Meander participants have raised in excess of $1.5 million, supporting The OTIS Foundation - Breast Cancer Retreats, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, & Echuca Regional Health. Although we've traversed the Mighty Murray for the last time, The Horizon Committee continue with our commitment to funding Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer support services as we expand other projects including Little Blue Towels, The Great Murray Riv...er Postie Bike Challenge & Echuca's Biggest Blokes BBQ. Please check out these pages to stay up to date, as this page will no longer be monitored. 04.01.2022 Organisers of the Great Murray River Postie Bike Adventure today presented a $65,000 cheque to the Trust to fund a new part-time clinical trials nurse position ...dedicated to prostate cancer research. It comes as the Border Medical Oncology Research Unit, located within the cancer centre, has just secured two new prostate cancer studies which will open up trials to potentially hundreds of new patients.
