25.01.2022 Just a heads up to those taking advantage of the free milk and grocery deliveries to Grong Grong by Narrandera Milk Drinks and Smallgoods - The delivery / pickup time has changed and is now at 11.30am Tuesdays at the Pub.

22.01.2022 Last run into town for 2019 will be on Tuesday the 24th. Hope you all have a good Christmas and New Year and have been happy to help those who have needed it. Stay safe if your travelling and dont take any risks with the fires. I will be back doing the errands again on Thursday the 2nd January 2020.... Geez ... 18.01.2022 ----------------------------- POST UPDATE ----------------------------------- This is a great advantage to folks in Grong Grong and will eliminate the need to go to town for the older folks who are most at risk. Having dairy deliveries - and fruit and vegetables is such a bonus to the town.... I hope folks take up the offer of ordering and make it successful worthwhile venture. Not taking away from this great initiative I will still be able to pick up other essentials for folks unless movement restrictions are exercised. ---------------------------- POST UPDATE --------------------------------- Hello Grongy people, Narrandera Milk Drinks and Smallgoods is starting a Grongy Delivery on Tuesday’s. Great way to help eliminate unnecessary trips to supermarkets. Payment can be made by cash but their preferred payment is tap and go, very minimal cash will be used given to current events. Disinfection procedures will be used if cash is taken / given to protect others, If you have cash please endeavour to have correct money as this limits handling. Please contact Karrie to place orders on 0427518313. Place orders by lunch time Monday for Tuesday 1pm pick up from their truck here in Grongy at the meeting point at the "Grongy Pub. Vinnie’s Fruits will also do deliveries to Grongy on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 16.01.2022 The free courier service will resume again on Monday 23rd March to and from Narrandera daily. The upheaval that is the corona virus has made things a bit difficult for a few people - in particular being able to get basic needs. Should anyone be taking advantage of the early hour opening at Coles for pensioners and need things brought home I am happy to do an early run into town for those people.

15.01.2022 A pickup from Eurell's and a few things from the Post office and Coles today. I was in need of an air tight jar and dropping the whipper snipper back to its owners swapped its possession for a jar suitable for purpose. Happy days ;)

11.01.2022 I'm having a break from doing the regular daily trips into town from Monday March 2 until Monday March 23. With the recent rain I have a need to be attending the school grounds and get them back in order. If you are stuck of course I will help if I can all the same. With a solid background in small engines I am happy to service mowers, whipper snippers, garden shredders, chainsaws etc.... Its nearly time to have them out and needing to be used regularly again. 11.01.2022 Back at again in 2020 - and today its smokey again. If you don't have to go out in it, don't. I will get anything from town for you. Today a few non perishables from Coles and a parcel from the Post Office. Take care if your travelling through fire affected areas folks and remember lights on :)
