24.01.2022 Raffles are on tonight as usual, with the Joker Jackpot sitting at $1200. Unfortunately we've had to suspend holding the raffles for the time being. We have made this decision in the interest of community safety and the social distancing recommendations from Government, we will provide updates as things progress, but there will no Friday raffles after tonight until further notice. ... 20.01.2022 This evening Lyn and I attended the Quaama Recovery Centre where a number of bushfire effected residents were attending a meeting with local Lions members. Earl...y that week we spoke to the recovery manager and asked her to identify a worthy recipient of a great donation received from Willy and John Woods from the Lions Club of Murrumbateman. We would like to introduce you all to Kya a 12 year girl whose family has not only been affected by the bushfire but also her older brother Brodie was injured late last year and had numerous visit to Sydney for medical treatment to a damaged hip. Her father, Craig is extremely grateful as they have been unable to get her the promised bike due to bushfire and medical expenses. Throughout all of this, as was told to us us by many of the Quaama and Cobargo residents, Kya has been nothing but supportive of her family and especially her brother. As you can see her smile tells the story and brought a tear to many eyes this evening. Another wonderful contribution from our Lions members Willy and John Woods and we thank you.

As you'll know, the ongoing COVID-19 situation has effected not only businesses, but many not for profit and service organisations across the country in their ability to raise funds to support their work within the community. Our Lions Club is no exception, with all fund-raising activities halted for the past 4 months, your support is as important now as ever so... we can continue to serve the local and wider community.
