The surplus water will last around three days and can now be seen on its way down the Main Canal from Narrandera Regulator. Each year we work with the environmental water holders to deliver water when and where it is needed across our network. 10.01.2022 The water levels will be lowered at Lake Talbot over the next week as we prioritise some bank repair works. The works are timely and will also support recreational use as we move into the warmer weather. They will be completed by Sunday 27 September with the levels returning to normal on Monday 28 September.

08.01.2022 The Lake View Branch Canal Expansion project has officially wrapped up and supply has resumed with some works on channel banks nearing completion. Since June we have: - Raised 30kms of channel bank - Upgraded 7 bridges - Installed 12 new regulators... - Automated and upgraded all outlets Thank you to the community for your patience while we make these changes. These upgrades will enable us to deliver the water customers want when they require it, significantly improve the efficiency of the LVBC and support farm viability. See more

05.01.2022 We’d like to thank community members affected by the Lake View Branch Canal expansion project works for their patience. There have been some traffic disruptions in the area over the course of the works and the recent rain has pushed out the finish date to Wednesday 19 August. Fraser Road bridge will be reopening Friday afternoon, under the instruction of Griffith City Council and subject to structural safety standards being met. This will reduce the inconvenience of local residents having to travel further on muddy roads.
