23.01.2022 With restrictions lifting a little we are able to play some club bowls under Bowls Victoria's direction. https://www.bowlsvic.org.au/covid-19/regional-clubs/ Each Thursday the greens will be open for practice and Saturday's starting the 26th we will be offering socials bowls. Names in by 1pm. BYO afternoon tea. The clubhouse will only be open to Board members or delegates to offer refreshments. ... New members very welcome.

19.01.2022 Our women’s and men’s club championships are on this Saturday. Members please put your names in by tomorrow. The forecasts is for a perfect day so it should be a very competitive day of high quality bowls.

19.01.2022 Last night we received some clarification about how we operate COVID safely for bowls. Face masks must be worn while playing. We can only have 10 people in the clubhouse at one time. We can have many more outside partaking in refreshments where we can social distance. ... Our bowling will be deemed pennant practice. More details are available at the clubhouse.

15.01.2022 Afternoon members. This Sunday 16th of May we will be having a working bee from 10am. We will be taking down the shade sails, cleaning out the container and tidying up the clubhouse and surrounds. Following this we will have a BBQ and a refreshment or two.... and maybe a bit of bowls.

11.01.2022 Today we acknowledge the passing of club legend Rex Bryan and offer our sympathies to Cheryl, Melissa, Janelle, Sebastian, Marg and their extended families. A life member of our club, Rex will be remembered by our members as a long serving treasurer, club champion and supportive and positive teammate. Rex will be sadly missed and we will be forever grateful for everything he gave to our club.

09.01.2022 Public Access Defibrillator Number 7 has gone out in Murtoa, this one is at the Bowls Club. Thanks to Bowls Club for doing this and thanks to Casey Kosch for supplying the security box for it.

08.01.2022 Over the weekend the B Grade Championships were played. It wasn't the best weather for bowls but we managed to get 3 rounds played on Saturday and the final played Sunday. 04.01.2022 Next Friday night the 23rd of April we will be holding our presentation night at the clubhouse. 6.30 for for a 7pm start We will be having casserole tea and sweets. $20 or $10 if you bring a casserole. Refreshments available from the bar. Please RSVP as soon as possible to this post for catering and Covid purposes. If you could also indicate if you are bringing a casserole it would be appreciated.

03.01.2022 Our bowls season has been a little different this year due to COVID-19, the normal pennant competition has been postpone to January 2021. The club has made the best of the situation and has been running social bowls on Saturday's and have started playing some club events. Sprake Triples -...
