17.01.2022 Halls Tyre Service had the pleasure of helping the drivers of a truck that had come from west of Moree to pick up the cane our farmers are generously donating t...o those in drought. They had a blown tyre and a truck tyre with a puncture. Our guys supplied a replacement tyre and fixed the puncture in record time. The drivers insisted on paying, we insisted on donating our goods and services for such a worthy cause. Little things like this, make us proud to be Aussies. Feeling grateful we were asked to help. 10.01.2022 The Highway Patrol Road Safety Roadshow came to Tweed Heads today. Assistant Commissioner John Hartley, Commander of the Traffic and Highway Patrol, Highway Pa...trol officers, along with the RMS and Tweed Valley Volunteer Rescue, converged on the Jack Evans Boat Harbour to promote road safety and encourage the community to share with police the responsibility of reducing road trauma. The VRA demostrated the rescue techniques used when attending motor vehicle accidents and Neighbourhood Watch were on hand to install tamper-proof screws which prevent number plate theft. See more
