18.01.2022 And the cycle begins. Poeple ask me how their muscles get tight and knotty or how they didnt even know there was a problem until i started working on it. Trauma doesnt have to be injury it can be something as simple as over use like looking down for hrs at a phone or sitting at computer. Or digging holes in your garden. The body/brain then learns to compensate with different motion and recruiting other muscle to take on the job of the muscle affected

11.01.2022 Many clients think of pain as binary; it's either there or not there. As a result, the only clear sign their pain is improving is when it's GONE. However, pain often doesn't go away all at once. There are likely to be incremental improvements along the way that we can notice if we tune in. Here are four signs you're actually moving in the right direction with pain. 1. When you have the pain, it's less severe than before. 2. You get the pain less frequent. 3. You can do more... with your body before re-triggering the pain 4. If triggered, the pain resolves more quickly than before. Recognising improvements when they come is an important part of the healing process. Not only does it let us know we're on the right track with our treatments, but it also helps greatly with the psychological component of pain management.
