23.01.2022 Happy Diwali Saturday 14 November Hindu, Sikh, Jaime festival of light. ... Diwali is the festival marking the victory of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance. Diwali or Deepavali is celebrated in honour of Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya, ending his fourteen-year-long exile. Many worship and pray to Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, on Diwali. Diwali is traditionally celebrated by lighting diyas (earthen lamps) and candles, praying to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh and meeting friends and family to exchange Diwali greetings and gifts. May the light of the diyas guide you on the way to happiness and success. Happy Diwali to you and your family

03.01.2022 In Slavic folklore, Baba Yaga is an anomaly both a nurturing earth mother and an evil villain who eats those who fail to complete her tasks. Origins of her name are unclear but it is believed that baba means old woman or grandmother, while yaga ranges from snake to wicked. The most common portrayal of Baba Yaga is as an old woman or a trio of elderly sisters, all depicted as skinny, with iron teeth, and long noses that they touch the ceiling when they sleep. Lor...e illustrates her travelling in a large mortar (rather than a broom), wielding a pestle as a wand. She dwells deep in the woods, in a hut standing on magical chicken legs, with the ability to run from forest to forest. Her hut is said to be surrounded by a fence made of human bones. Handmade wooden Baba Yaga huts exclusive to the Muses may be used as Spirit Houses or a haven for small familiars. @musesofmystery
